LET’s SPRING INTO SUMMER WITH SOME MUCH NEEDED POSITIVITY. HUNDREDS of planned East Anglian FESTIVAL dates are now listed on our website at https://sixtytwothings.co.uk/festivals/ Our region’s amazing organisers, suppliers and performers will be doing their utmost to keep us safe and save our summer (and our sanity).
In 2019 there were over 700 Festivals, Fairs and Fundays held in our region (Cambs, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk). 2020 was a terrible year for everyone and for the Events Industry especially. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions the vast majority of events in the region had to be cancelled or postponed. However 39 live events did take place in one form or another and there were 69 Virtual events online across the region.
Following the inclusion of events in the Government’s Road Map out of lockdown the good news is there are now around 250 EVENTS planned for 2021 in our region. We have everything crossed that we will see you at one of these events very soon. Our hearts go out to all involved in the 100 plus Events that have sadly had to be postponed again this year until 2022.
