The award-winning Rock N Roll Circus is set to dazzle Norwich with its unique blend of live music and circus magic. Following the previously announced headline performance by Olly Murs on Saturday 16th August, organisers are delighted to reveal another major headlining act for the summer 2025 weekend at Earlham Park, Norwich.
On Friday 15th August, Courteeners will now also take centre stage. One of the UK’s most iconic indie bands, Courteeners have topped charts and headlined festivals nationwide.
Also included on this line-up are indie rockers The Lathums, Reverend and The Makers, The Lemonheads, Brooke Combe, The Clause, The Rosadocs, October Drift, Pleasure Inc., Arthur Black and Gabby Rivers.
Wigan’s finest, The Lathums have enjoyed two #1 albums and are known for anthemic tracks such as, ‘How Beautiful Life Can Be,’ and ‘From Nothing To A Little Bit More.’ The Charlatans Tim Burgess and The Killers Brandon Flowers are amongst their fans.
Sheffield’s Reverend and the Makers fronted by the charismatic Jon McClure need no introduction. Celebrating their 20th Anniversary this year, the band has released a total of 7 studio albums and are currently supporting Samaritans with their Christmas release, ‘Late Night Phone Call.’
US legends The Lemonheads fronted by Evan Dando and rising Scottish soul star Brooke Combe join this dynamic Friday line-up, plus there’s an appetising selection of emerging artists to check out.
Saturday’s headliner, Olly Murs, will be joined by Blue and Scouting for Girls for a day of pure pop perfection on Saturday 16th August, ensuring the weekend offers something for every music fan.
Rock N Roll Circus brings together world-class live music with the magic of a travelling circus, creating an experience that’s as unique as it is unforgettable. From jaw-dropping acrobatics to incredible visuals and a carnival atmosphere, this is no ordinary festival.
Ali O’Reilly, Festival Director, said: “We’re over the moon to bring an expanded Rock N Roll Circus to Norwich for 2025. This line-up is one of our biggest yet, and we’re so excited to give East Anglia the full Rock N Roll Circus experience. From massive headliners like Olly Murs and Courteeners to the magical circus performances, we’re creating a weekend that fans will never forget. This is a festival like no other – Norwich, get ready!”
When it comes to bands that embody the electric energy and communal spirit of a music festival, few do it as effortlessly as Courteeners. Hailing from Manchester, this iconic indie-rock outfit has become synonymous with anthemic choruses and relatable lyrics. Fronted by the charismatic Liam Fray, Courteeners have consistently delivered tracks that feel tailor-made for open-air stages and festival singalongs, cementing their place as one of the UK’s most beloved live acts.
Since their formation in 2006, Courteeners have risen to the top tiers of the British music scene. Their debut album St. Jude remains a staple of indie playlists, while subsequent records like Concrete Love and More. Again. Forever. showcase their ability to evolve musically while staying true to their roots. Songs like “Not Nineteen Forever,” “Are You In Love With A Notion?,” and “Take Over The World” have become generational anthems, evoking mass singalongs wherever they’re played. With multiple sold-out arena shows and festival headlining slots under their belt, Courteeners are set to be a worthy addition to the inaugural Rock N Roll Circus in Norwich next summer.
