Forest Live, Forestry England’s summer concert series presented with Cuffe & Taylor, are thrilled to announce renowned soul singer-songwriter Beverley Knight as the latest artist set to appear at the event’s 2025 edition. 

The much-loved soul and R&B artist is best known for her hit singles ‘Greatest Day’, ‘Get Up!’, ‘Should Woulda Coulda’ and ‘Come as You Are’, and will support pop icon Gary Barlow at Forestry England High Lodge, Thetford on Saturday 21 June.

Heavily influenced by American soul icons including Sam Cooke and Aretha Franklin, Beverley Knight released her debut album The B-Funk in 1995. Widely regarded as one of Britain’s greatest soul artists, Beverley was awarded an MBE in 2007 for services to British music and charity, has won an Oliver Award (and twice nominated for Best Actress), won three MOBO Awards, been nominated for Best Female at the Brit Awards 3 times and Best Album at the prestigious Mercury Music Prize. Last year she also won the Outstanding Contribution to Diversity Award at the European Diversity Awards and was honoured at the Ethnicity Awards for her continued efforts in the field. With nine studio albums under her belt, Knight has also made a name for herself on the West End with performances in acclaimed musicals including The Bodyguard, Cats and Sister Act.This spring Beverley will feature as the Godmother of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Sister Rosetta Tharpe in her first professional theatre play Marie and Rosetta. 

Beverley will be supporting global pop superstar Gary Barlow as part of his Songbook Tour, which celebrates his status as one of Britain’s most successful songwriters and record producers. Fans can expect Gary to draw from an incredible arsenal of classic tracks both from his time with Take That and his solo days, including ‘Since I Saw You Last’, ‘Greatest Day’, ‘Rule the World’, and the anthemic ‘Never Forget’.
