The EAFN is pleased to become a member of the Events Industry Forum.
The EIF represents the UK outdoor events industry and publishes the Purple Guide. The Purple Guide, formerly published by the Health & Safety Executive, is widely recognised as the key reference source for managing events outdoors. we look forward to supporting the Forum and sharing the great work they are doing with our members.
We attended our first EIF Forum meeting as a member on 22 Jan 2025. This included the latest news on updates to the Purple Guide and excellent presentations from EIF grant recipients: Power of Events, NOWIE, Oxford Brookes, Neon, Attitude is Everything and Leeds Beckett University.
