The lates bands joining the Cambridge Rock Festrival Line up are:

The Pure Floyd Show

The Pure Floyd Show – They never fail to impress and never disappoint. After an impressive two decades on the live music scene, The Pure Floyd Show have earned a strong reputation as one of the most energetic, visually stunning and theatrical tributes to the legendary Pink Floyd. The 13-piece production takes the audience on an immersive musical journey featuring a spectacular set list of classic anthems (Comfortably Numb, Money, Brick in the Wall) and remarkable rarities (One of these days, Not now John, Keep Talking).

From the psychedelic Syd Barrett years all the way through to the Division Bell, the band breathe life into each equally epic era. Performed by some of the UK’s most seasoned musicians, you can expect breath-taking lead guitar and vocals, atmospheric keys, a flavorful rhythm section and soaring sax solos. In addition to an authentic musical performance, you will be swept away by their staggering light and laser show!

Red Bazar

Formed in 2007 as an instrumental trio featuring Andy Wilson on guitar, Paul Comerie on drums and Mick Wilson on bass and keyboards. The line-up released two albums, ‘Connections’ and ‘Differential Being’, and a three track EP, ‘Beyond The Ice Storm’. The releases were well received by audiences and critics alike and the band developed a reputation for their live performances. To expand on the sound, the band recruited keyboard player Gary Marsh and soon after teamed up with singer and multi-instrumentalist Peter Jones.

This line up released the first Red Bazar vocal album, ‘Tales From The Bookcase’. The album was voted runner up in the Classic Rock Society album of the year awards 2016 and appeared in a number of top 10 album listings including magazines, radio stations and internet sites.

Progressive Aspect reported ‘Red Bazar may just have released one of the Prog albums of the year’

Creedence Clearwater Review

Arguably the definitive tribute band to Creedence Clearwater Revival in the UK.

Crafted by months of solid rehearsal and ‘song polishing’ by four talented musicians, dedicated to the music of both Creedence Clearwater Revival and John Fogerty’s later solo career material, their aim has been to avoid slavishly following album tracks but rather to re-interpret the bands massive back catalogue in a similar manner to John Fogerty’s performances with his current band. Dale Taylor takes up the role of John Fogerty on guitar and vocals with the boundless energy of his generation and with the solid experience of the band providing a fantastic quality yet power packed delivery of the original band’s classic songs. The Creedence and Fogerty catalogue includes Bad Moon Rising, Rockin’ All Over The World (later covered by Status Quo), Up Around The Bend, Proud Mary, Green River, Born On The Bayou and many, many more!

Aynsley Lister

Featured in Total Guitars 2024 ‘Greatest Blues Guitarists Of All Time’ readers poll, Lister is considered by many to be one of the most exciting contemporary blues guitarists around today. Known not only for his exceptional guitar playing, he is also a highly regarded songwriter whose passion for music crosses genres, effortlessly combining blues, soul, Americana, rock and sometimes even pop elements. Expect a show of fan favourites from his extensive back catalogue mixed with newer material from his most recent highly acclaimed albums.

“Aynsley really knows how to shape a solo, when to hold back and when to step on the gas… Fine songs, a top-notch band, powerful production and a mix of great tones this is British blues at its finest, but with a catchy rock edge.” – Guitar Techniques Magazine
