A new crop of rising talent will be presenting their music at Latitude this year.
Arthur Black
Norwich’s Arthur Black’s journey into music is anything but ordinary. Raised between hostels, refuges, and temporary housing, Arthur’s upbringing was shaped by a bohemian, nomadic lifestyle. Music became a refuge after a family tragedy, when Arthur was gifted a guitar and began playing and singing, learning songs by ear from family CDs and the radio. Fast forward to the present day, and their music blends the raw emotion of Big Thief, the melodic storytelling of The Cranberries, and the timeless energy of Fleetwood Mac. Don’t miss Arthur Black take to the Alcove this summer.
Chest
Explosive, enigmatic, and effortlessly cool, Norwich alt-pop outfit Chest has been building serious buzz since their emergence in 2024. Known for their chaotic yet captivating live performances, the band has already caught the ears of tastemakers at BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music, blending the raw energy of ’90s alt-pop with the modern edge of artists like Inhaler and Been Stellar. With a sound equal parts nostalgic and novel, Chest are poised to bring their genre-defying dynamism to the Alcove stage.
Jazmine Banks & The Wild Hearts
Suffolk-born country-pop artist Jazmine Banks & The Wild Hearts have been turning heads with heartfelt lyrics and radiant stage presence. The band, consisting of phenomenal singer Jazmine Honey Banks and singer-songwriter Tony Poole, blend classic country influences with fresh pop sensibilities, crafting a sound that’s both authentic and current. With new music on the horizon and a growing presence on the UK festival circuit, Jazmine Banks & The Wild Hearts are set to shine on Latitude’s Sunrise Arena this July.
Lottie Gray
21-year-old singer-songwriter Lottie Gray spent most of her childhood nurturing her imagination, conjuring stories from her bedroom on the South Norfolk coastline where she grew up. Creating an intimate, open conversation between audience and artist, Gray writes exactly how she feels. Described as ‘impeccable, lyrically pointed and powerful’ and blending elements from pop, folk and Americana, her creations boast raw and poetic lyric writing, expressed through Lottie’s emotive and powerfully evocative vocals. Lottie will bring her dynamic set to Latitude’s Alcove this July.
Pozzy
At just 20 years old, Pozzy is a rising Suffolk star blending grime, hip hop, and raw authenticity. With viral TikTok performances and over 150,000 Spotify streams to his name, Pozzy’s lyrical honesty, ranging from struggle to celebration, has struck a chord with audiences across the UK. A natural performer and gifted MC, Pozzy’s freestyling has lit up stages from Bristol to Sheffield, including sets alongside legends like Sir Spyro.
Don’t Forget the Piano!
As you stroll across the Writers Bridge towards the woods, drifting between discovery and creativity, something special awaits: a piano, standing alone. The piano has been a Latitude staple for years, but this year, we’re doing something new…
Latitude is inviting 12 pianists and their musical colleagues (maximum 4 in total) from across the UK to apply for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform at The Piano, an extraordinary new opportunity debuting at the 2025 festival.
Hidden within a secluded woodland glade, The Piano offers a beautifully atmospheric, informal setting where artists of all abilities can share their music with a live festival audience. Curated slots will run throughout the weekend, providing performers with a unique stage framed by nature and spontaneity.
Plus+ The Forest Gets a Makeover
A brand new home for the curiously entertaining and the entertainingly curious… Latitude is incredibly excited to announce the arrival of an all-new Science-focused arena for 2025 – The Cosmic Shambles Forest of Science and Culture – a bold and wondrous new space at the heart of Henham Park, curated by the award-winning independent team at The Cosmic Shambles Network.
This brand-new arena will be unlike anything Latitude has hosted before. In their unique style, and drawing on 19 years of curating shows at Latitude, the Cosmic Shambles Forest will be part science festival, part book club, part comedy club, part music gig, part interactive museum, and all wonder! The Cosmic Shambles Forest is a whole new world of fascination, created for both the curious and the creatively inclined.
