Head to Felixstowe’s Spa Gardens this August Bank Holiday for a weekend of live music, art and wellbeing as two local institutions, WAMFest Felixstowe (Women Arts and Music) and Music in Felixstowe create a fabulous two-day community event!

Sunday 24th August 2025 will be WAMFest by the Waves :  championing female talent from across the arts with exceptional talent from musicians and artists for all ages to enjoy, with workshops and wellbeing, as well as performers on stage. Then on Monday 25th August 2025 Felixstowe Festival Orchestra and Felixstowe Community Choir will be among the acts performing at Proms on the Prom.

WAMFest’s Laura Locke said she was thrilled to be working with Proms on the Prom.

“We are all passionate about live music and giving local talent a platform and this weekend will bring together so many different styles and genres there will be something for everyone,” she said.

“The Spa Gardens are a beautiful setting; we love being by the seaside and WAM by the Waves will be a day to remember. Bring a picnic, get involved or just sit back and enjoy. “

WAM by the Waves will be full of wonderful sessions, by talented women all day till nightfall. From Meditation in the gardens at 10 am through Yoga on the Beach,  folk sessions, writing, singing and art workshops, a music showcase, Salsa and Flamenco workshops, the day culminates at 9PM with DJ Sadie Mac, keeping up the dance energy.
