We are pleased to welcome two more new members to the East Anglian Festival Network:
North Walsham Children’s Day was created by our Chairman Robert Murphy back in 2017.
Our mission is to offer an inexpensive afternoon of fun for all families irrelevant of income.
Local Businesses, Organisations and induvials have supported the event by subsidising a range of activities and events.
This has allowed us to offer most attractions free or at minimal cost.
Any profits made have been used to expand the event and in recent years given to local charities that offer activities to children all year round.
We are pleased to welcome the Cambridge Buskers Festival as an EAFN Member and look forward to their City Venues event in June.
We are particularly happy that following the sad cancellation of this year’s Strawberry Fair, Cambuskers Community Group have decided to run the Cambridge Buskers Festival on the same weekend the fair would have been held, as a fundraiser for Strawberry Fair itself.
Cambuskers are asking for a donation of £200 from each venue taking part, which will go towards next year’s Strawberry Fair.
