What is Newmarket Nights?
Newmarket Nights is a series of summer music events held at the historic July Course, at Newmarket Racecourses in rural Cambridgeshire.

The events offer a live experience unlike any other – a full headline set by some of music’s biggest artists, supported by a thrilling six-card horse race in the early evening. Your one ticket gives you access to the exhilarating races and the concert, offering an unrivalled entertainment experience.

Who is headlining?
The 2025 Newmarket Nights season is set to deliver another show-stopping summer of music, with a stellar line-up that spans generations and genres. Kicking things off on 20th June is Ministry of Sound Classical, supported by legendary DJ Brandon Block, blending iconic dance anthems with a live orchestra for an opening night of euphoric nostalgia. One week later, Richard Ashcroft – the voice of The Verve and one of Britain’s most acclaimed songwriters – brings his unmistakable sound to the stage on 27th June.

On 1st August, the legendary Tom Jones returns with his powerhouse vocals and decades-spanning hits. The momentum continues on 8th August with Faithless, promising a night of dancefloor energy, with vocal powerhouses Michael Ball & Alfie Boe join forces once again on 15th August.

The season concludes in style on 23rd August with Summer Saturday Live, headlined by pop royalty Sugababes, joined by the chart-topping Natasha Bedingfield.

With a line-up that blends classical reinvention, Britpop brilliance, dance anthems, and pop nostalgia, Newmarket Nights 2025 promises an unforgettable fusion of music and atmosphere in a truly unique setting.

What time do the events start and finish?
As the ticket includes both the horseracing and the concert, we would encourage you to come along to enjoy both! However, if you wish to only arrive for the concert, we recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the last race. The approximate timings for each concert are 8.30pm – 10.30pm but these timings are different for each event – the artists will come on stage around 15 minutes after the last race. Please see the order of running on the event page for the official racing times for your chosen music event.

What food and drink are on offer?
The racecourse has a whole host of different food options available, from exceptional fine dining restaurants to a selection of street food outlets. Try out the Cocktail or Prosecco bars or tuck into some of our quality Fish & Chips! A full list of all outlets is available here

If you’re attending the day within the Garden Enclosure, you’re welcome to bring along your own picnic!

Is there a dress code?
We believe racing should be enjoyed by anyone and everyone. And one thing is certainly true, the more relaxed and comfortable we feel, the more likely we are to have a great time. So that’s why we’ve created one very simple piece of guidance, to come “dressed to feel your best”.

We’re all unique, and no more so than in our sense of style and comfort. For some, wearing a nice sweatshirt, pair of jeans and clean trainers is what makes them feel confident and at-ease. For others, they might prefer to turn heads with a sharp suit or glamorous dress. But whatever your tastes, the most important thing when choosing your outfit is, of course, comfort and confidence. So, wear what feels right for you and will keep you feeling your best from start to finish, whatever the weather.
