Sophie Griffiths is a singer-songwriter from Brentwood, Essex. With a passion for writing and performing her soulful, mellow pop music, Sophie is unlike other pop artists, influenced by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Amy Winehouse and Norah Jones. Having released a handful of tracks over the past few years, Sophie has created a dedicated audience across social media, with a TikTok following of over 270k and videos reaching millions of views.
Her hard work, alongside fan support, has led to opportunities across radio with plays on BBC Essex, live shows performing at O2 Islington, Latitude and Camden Assembly, and also the chance to record vocals for Sky Kids TV show ‘Let the Music Play’.
Alongside a huge growth in fans on TikTok, Sophie has had industry support from major names such as Tom Odell, who sat on the panel for the Song Academy Young Songwriter Competition, which Sophie won in 2019.
