POSSIBLE COVID19 Measures – Suggestions For Live Events – Testing/Isolation/PPE/Social Distancing/Sanitation (TIPSS)
While the Covid-19 pandemic is ongoing measures have to be put in place before live events can take place. Health and Safety Risk Assessments need to be reviewed and revised to keep the workforce, suppliers, venue staff, traders, attendees and the local community safe.
You should use the guidance published by the Event Industry Forum (Keeping workers and audiences safe during COVID-19) and all the relevant guidance referenced within it. In your Risk assessment you should consider the following scenarios when identifying mitigations to eliminate or minimise aerosol and contact transmission: Worker to Worker, Audience to Worker, Worker to Audience and Audience to Audience. Here is a high level list the EAFN has produced for Event Organisers, Venues and Event Suppliers to consider for mitigations when you carry out your Health Risk Assessments (any updates or additions to this list please let us know):
